We provide a comprehensive range of training programs and courses that cater to the needs of students. Our programs are designed for self-enrichment and to equip students with the necessary skills and techniques to succeed in their chosen career paths. We provide an Accredited Learning Centre and Assessment Facilities for the following:
1. Certificate in Christian Discipleship (RPL)
This comprehensive training program is structured around 21 Christian discipleship themes. The curriculum is centered on personal growth, while equipping students with the skills to disciple others.
2. Pastoral Practitioner NQF level 2
The Christian Religious (Pastoral) Practitioner facilitates and oversees the effective practice of ministry within a congregation or faith community. This involves encouraging spiritual formation, promoting fellowship and mutual care, guiding the development of a Christian lifestyle, providing leadership, ensuring organisational health, and coordinating the congregation’s response to societal needs.
3. Pastoral Professional NQF level 5
The Christian Religious Professional is a dedicated leader who guides and executes the core functions of ministry within a faith community. This role encompasses facilitating spiritual growth (formation), cultivating strong fellowship and mutual support, equipping members for a Christian lifestyle, and providing strategic leadership to ensure the faith community’s obedience to its divine calling, well-being, and long-term sustainability. Crucially, they develop and lead missional practices that actively share the Christian message and serve the holistic well-being of the wider community.
4. Counselling (CLA) – Certificate, Diploma and Degree
The City Empowerment Centre offers the opportunity to grow in Word-knowledge to equip yourself for the work of ministry and counselling. Topics like Christian Basics, Values, Discipleship Growth, Marriage & Family, Christian Leadership and Ministry Principles are just some of the amazing subjects which will be dealt with.
5. Early Child Development NQF level 4
An Early Childhood Development Practitioner plans and prepares early childhood activities, facilitates and mediates learning, observes and assesses the progress of children, and reflects on learning in an inclusive, play-based environment to support holistic development of children (from conception – school going) in different centre-based or non-centre based settings.
6. Diploma in Theology (BTC Learning Centre)
Admission Requirement: Completion of the Certificate in Christian Discipleship
7. Bachelors in Theology (BTC Learning Centre)
Bachelors Admission Requirement: Completion of the Certificate in Christian Discipleship and BTC Diploma in Theology.
8. Honours, Masters & Doctorate in Theology (BTC)
Admission Requirement: for Honours: Completion of the BTC Bachelors in Theology
